Who we are

We at Aarambh Residency are like a small family – a family that is ready to grow.

We are friends from all over the world and work together as a team and we are happy to welcome anyone who wants to join our team, experience the community and become part of our small family.

“Coming together is a beginning,

keeping together is progress,

working together is success”

Our Vision

We have a vision to build a team whose cooperation is based on openness and honesty. We believe that with a good team you can achieve anything!

The hotel Aarambh Residency is our starting point – a place where volunteers from all over the world come together to collaborate, create, and learn from and with each other. This is also why we chose the name “Aarambh”, which means “the beginning”. Our goal is to build valuable and long lasting relations.

The hotel opened in February 2023. We are currently working on getting the hotel running and on expanding our offerings such as yoga and meditation classes. We would also like to open a cafe soon. You can get involved in projects and work related to the hotel (room keeping, social media, giving yoga classes etc.).

We have a garden at the backside of our hotel and a farm in Khajuraho. So you can also get involved in work related to farming and gardening. Our aim is to offer food with home-grown and organic vegetables and fruits in our hotel.

We welcome creative ideas and motivated and energetic people. You can get involved in the work we’re already doing or start your own creative project in collaboration with the local community here. Meanwhile you can experience Indian culture and life in an authentic way.

Our long term vision is to transform the idea of tourism, both on the side of the tourists and on the side of the local population. Tourists need to understand that many local people here live from tourism. At the same time, we want to make clear to the locals that an open and honest dealing with tourists is more sustainable and promising in the long run.

You want to work with us and become part of our team? Then simply contact us via email or phone. We are also happy to answer any further questions.
